When You Reach Me is a mind tingling book that will leave you wanting more. Miranda is an average kid until her best friend Sal gets punched by a kid on the street and doesn't talk to Miranda anymore. After that Miranda's life is like a bumpy dirt road that nobody will fix. Her mom is a contestant on the 20,000 pyramid game show so Miranda and her moms boyfriend Richard help prepare her for the time of her life. This is only one of the many (and a very small one that is) dramas going on in this girls life. Miranda gets a note that says "i am coming to save your friends life and my own. I ask two favors. first you must write me a letter..." And as anyone would be was scared. And on top of the notes there was a crazy guy on her corner that would yell things at the sky and kick at the cars in the street. Will Miranda figure out what the notes mean? Will she be able to get over Sal and make new friends? Learn in When You Reach Me by: Rebecca Stead. I absolutely loved this book. It was a real page turn.

The only thing these girls have in common is that they're in fifth grade and that they all have flower names (Yasaman means Jasaman in Spanish.) The girls barely know each others names until Camilla loses her lucky bobble head turtle and Medessa the mean girl gets a hold of it. Meanwhile Yasaman made a cool website like Face book. This book was fabulous, I couldn't put it down. Can the girls get the turtle back and give the mean girls a little payback? See in Luv Ya Bunches.

At the beginning of this book I was kind of bored, but as I kept reading I really started to get into it. I like how this book can be for boys and girls.

This book is part of the series Beacon Street Girls. Avery Madden goes on vacation to see her dad in Colorado. Soon Avery realizes that her dad is dating a woman named Andie who has a 13 year old daughter named Kazie. Kazie seems really annoying and full of herself, but soon Avery and Kazie become good friends. Avery is very sporty and is friends with a lot of boys, so it wasn't a surprise when she met Jason who was an animal lover like Jason. I really would recommend this book to others. I couldn't put it down!

Lake Rescue is yet another Beacon Street Girls book. It is about the girls who go on a seventh grade trip to a overnight education camp. The BSG learn a lot on the trip and their classmates do to. I recommend reading the other ones also. Lake rescue is an outdoor education camp where you can do activities like rock climbing. The BSG learn not to judge people on their outlook. Most girls weren't looking forward to this but ended up having a lot of fun. I really like this book.

Ever since her mother died, she was afraid to go outside. Some pages were happy and adventurous and some were so sad I almost cried. But don't let that little piece of info make you turn away. This book was great. I couldn't put it down. The book is about two tribes of birds. The cardinals and the blue jays save birds all around the world by calling Swordbird, a great mythical creature in an old old book. A hawk was taking over the whole world getting slave birds and soldiers. Can the good birds stop him? Find out in the book Swordbird. I gave it four hearts because the beginning was hard to understand, but as you get closer to the middle it gets really good. YYYY

HATE THAT CAT

This book has some poems turned into a full story. The beginning of this book is sort of strange but when you get farther in you understand it more. I liked how the author described this particular story in poem. It is about a boy who thinks cats are mean and bad but soon gets a cat and realizes that cats aren't that bad. YYY

The first Main Street book (Welcome To Camden Falls) is my absolute favorite book. The first chapter almost brought me to tears. The book is about two girls whose parents died in a car crash. Flora and Ruby have to live with their grandmother in the row houses. It is such a good book. I recommend the book to children and grownups. The book is about how hard it is for them and how much change they go through every day. They meet new friends through their journey. I give this book YYYYY

Out of Bounds

Out Of Bounds by Annie Bryant was a great book. Meave, Charlotte, Katani, Isabel, and Avery are working hard to save Meave’s father’s movie house. It isn’t all that easy you know because the Beacon Street girls are having other problems too: Meave has a lot on her mind with her parents recently separated, and Isabel’s facing trouble with the mean girls Kiki, Anna, and Joline in their talent show hip hop routine. After a flood in the gym where the talent show was supposed to be, they had to transfer the talent show to the movie house also where the money made from the talent show was going.
I enjoyed the book and I bet you might two. I give this book YYYYY
